Café Raphael is designed as a calm, intimate space where guests can relax and fully enjoy the ambiance. Our concept, atmosphere, and layout are tailored to an adult clientele seeking a quiet and refined experience. 

Not at all. Many businesses define their experience through clear guidelines. For example, several Scandinavian-style spas in the region are 18+ to preserve a calm and relaxing environment. Similarly, some restaurants enforce dress codes to maintain a certain atmosphere. Our policy follows the same principle — creating a consistent and intentional guest experience. 

Not at all. This is not about children themselves — it’s about the environment we have created. Our space includes delicate antiques, artwork, and décor that require a controlled setting to preserve.
That said, children are welcome during the summer season on our outdoor patio, where the setting is more suitable. 

We completely understand that some children are very calm and well-behaved. However, to remain fair and consistent to all guests, we apply our policy equally to everyone. Making exceptions could create confusion or the perception of unfair treatment. 

Yes. Many of our furnishings and decorative pieces are fragile, valuable, or not suited for a child-friendly environment. The policy helps ensure the safety of both our guests and our space. 

We kindly ask that all guests respect our 18+ policy at all times, even for short visits. We appreciate your understanding. 

At this time, our 18+ policy applies to all visits, including private events.
